RISE Community Insiders
This group is for caregivers, social workers, recreation professionals, nonprofit leaders, service providers, advocates, supporters, and friends of RISE. You do not need to take part in or volunteer at a RISE program.
Request to join with any email address
For-profit businesses are welcome to post sponsor opportunities, resource fair booths, useful services, and nonprofit connections directly to Community Insiders at newsletter@riseadaptivesports.org.
A Google Account is only required for the direct Google Groups path below. RISE staff approve requests and moderate messages. Other members can see your email address when you post. Every group email includes an unsubscribe link.
Read the Community Guidelines
Make your message clear
Tell members what you are sharing, who it is for, where and when it happens, what it costs, and who can answer questions.
Protect people’s privacy
Do not share medical records, disability details, waivers, payment data, private contact lists, or confidential case information.
Keep the group welcoming
Be respectful. Do not shame, threaten, harass, or exclude people. Get permission before you share another person’s story.
Do not send spam
Do not send repeated promotions, unrelated advertising, chain messages, political campaign messages, or requests for private financial data.
RISE may review messages
RISE may hold, decline, or remove a message that does not follow these guidelines. Sharing a message does not mean that RISE endorses its organization, event, service, survey, or claim. Every group email includes an unsubscribe link.
